Colònia Güell & Gaudís Crypt

Book Now

The Church was originally intended for and built as a place for the working people from the textile factory owned by Count Eusebi de Güell.

They began building in 1908 and Gaudí ended up leaving the project in 1914 when Eusebi de Güell stopped the financing because unfortunately, his business did not go quite as well as expected and The Crypt ended up being the only building which was built but never has been completed.

Gaudí's Crypt is located in a small village called Colònia Güell about 20 minutes outside of Barcelona. The village itself is worth a visit – explore the small urban communities and enjoy the various architectural styles that can be found around the city.

Visit Gaudí's Crypt and see where he experimented with many architectural solutions which later got him hired to complete the Sagrada Familia. Read more and book your ticket here: visitwithticket.com
