  • Children under 6 years, people in wheelchairs or people with functional disabilities can not visit the towers (children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult)

When is the buildings started and when are they expected completion:

The construction of the Sagrada Familia started in year 1882 by the architect Francisco de Paula del Villar and in 1883 it was taken over by Gaudí working on the project until his death in 1926. 

Sagrada Familia is financed by private donations and it is expected that construction will be completed in the first third part of the 21st century

After or before your visit this masterpiece you can enjoy the surroundings, find yourself a good seat at one of the many cozy sidewalk cafes located around the Sagrada Familia or enjoy the view from the park which is on the front and back of the Sagrada Familia.
